The police have broken up a wedding party in London at the Orthodox Charedi Jewish school which was being attended by 400 people.

I can only express amazement that the message has still not been got over to people – breaking the rules will cause deaths.

It is good to know that the police are going to be able to issue fines for such infringements at £800 per person per throw from next week doubling each time to a maximum of £6400.

Will people not learn? I wonder what the 95,981 souls who have already passed away from Covid-19 in Britain think about it.
