Next Article Vaccination passports – now the Prime Minster says they are under consideration. What groups of people may be pressing for these? Look carefully at the proposals and let us analyse them once they have had time to sink in over night The timing of today’s announcements means that we shall not really have a full picture of where the country is going until later this evening. However the outline road map as given by the Prime Minister in Parliament is in fact quite brave. There are still significant time factors on the lifting of restrictions but at least we shall be able to move forward knowing that if we can reach the targets then we have some dates hopefully to look forward to. The projected June date of the lifting of all restrictions still seems fairly ambitious! By that time though most of the country should have been vaccinated and we shall be able to view to entire problem from a different perspective. There will still be illness, there will still be people going to hospital and sadly there will still be deaths but it is to be hoped that the figures will be greatly reduced. This will be a week of great thought and assessment and businesses will be able to start to plan in outline for the time when they expect to be able to re-open their doors. In the meanwhile we look forward to being able to meet in the public parks towards the end of March.
